Tech Mix 3 / Wednesdays

Are your pre-teens drawn to screens, video games, and smart devices? What if they could learn to understand the technologies behind them?

In our weekly Tech Mix 3 workshops, participants explore the basics of electronics, coding, and digital fabrication using tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, and soldering irons — all while creating tangible projects.

Last year, for example, our group built a candy catapult and a spooky target for Halloween. Naturally, the target was equipped with Lego sensors programmed to detect the number of successful hits. At the end of the school year, the ever-resourceful group decided to create personal fans for hot summer days at the beach. Each participant designed and 3D-printed their fan casing, then soldered the motor to the electric circuit to create the perfect breeze!

📖 No prior knowledge is needed to join Tech Mix 3 workshops.

🕒 There are two Tech Mix 3 groups: one on Wednesdays and one on Saturdays. Choose the day that suits you best. If you prefer Saturdays, click here.

🎒 For students of the Tenbosch school (136 Rue Américaine, Ixelles), our teachers offer a walking accompaniment service from the school to Tic Tac Lab (a 500-meter walk) before the workshop. Parents are asked to pick up their child at 2:00 PM at Tic Tac Lab.
