Crazy Chain Reaction Machines

A Stage Full of Motion and Surprises!

In the mornings, kids will build chain reaction machines, while afternoons will be dedicated to all sorts of fun sports and games at CEMôme.

Using the equipement from Tic Tac Lab’s fablab—such as its laser cutter, 3D printers, and thermoformers—as well as cardboard, fabric, recycled objects, and thousands of LEGO bricks, participants will design spectacular, unexpected, and sometimes completely wacky action sequences, inspired by the famous Rube Goldberg machines. Piece by piece, they’ll learn to turn a simple trigger into a series of reactions involving marbles, dominoes, levers, balls, or gears.

On the final day, the complete chain reaction will be set in motion and filmed to preserve a lasting memory of this ephemeral creation! This is a workshop where physics meets creativity, hands-on building, and the joy of imagining a sequence of actions that are both effective and surprising.

Please note that this stage will be conducted primarily in French, but our coaches will be happy to interact with your child in English if necessary.

Registration opens on March 16, 2026 on CEMôme’s website.
